Dino & I plan to go to Iguana Macks for a BBQ lunch. This is a restaurant/bar in Chandler that we enjoy. Then tonight is the Gilbert Old Fashioned Family 4th of July Celebration. It's held at a high school with food vendors, games and local clubs. They have a talent show and fireworks. It's small and friendly and we've enjoyed it in the past years. Though it is quite hot here today...97 degrees and it's not quite ten o'clock. Peaches and Tabasco are going to stay in and enjoy the air conditioning.
We had BBQ - as you can see Dino is happy.
The fire works celebration was fun, though there was a severe thunderstorm warning. It cooled down about 20 degrees which was nice though it was pretty windy as you can tell by Dino's hair.
A few sparks fell on the crowd so they stopped the show and moved the crowd to the
east. We decided to go home- work in the morning... us old people need our beauty sleep.... lol bye and good night.
